Overlook Associates brings comprehensive consulting and oversight to real estate development and finance, adaptive reuse projects and tax credit financing. Established in 2007 by Lanie Finbury and Fred Phillips, Overlook Associates has extensive experience and a national reputation in real estate and economic development, public and private financing, financial management, and preservation.

Our work centers on consulting and management for all stages of real estate development and historic preservation. Our experience in finance gives us the ability to advise clients on project feasibility and arrange financing while providing assistance with zoning and permits, grants and public economic development subsidies, preparation and processing of tax credit applications, green design, negotiations with regulatory agencies, and construction management. Overlook has the ability to combine multiple financing sources including Federal and state historic rehabilitation tax credits with other programs such as New Markets tax credits to improve project feasibility and profitability.
